Although the warmth has eluded us for the beginning of April, the Conservative Leadership race is beginning to heat-up. This past week, both MP Kellie Leitch and MP Maxime Bernier have put their names forth for the official role to replace Stephen Harper. Both MP’s had indicated but not implicitly stated they would run for leadership until now. With several other high-profile names circulating with the intent of seeking the Conservative Party Leadership, it would be safe to say April will be a hot month in the world of politics, despite the weather outside.
