On May 27, 2017, Conservative Party members from across Canada gathered in Toronto to witness the election of a new party leader.
Among the fourteen candidates to vie for the leadership position, there has been re-awakening in the Conservative spirit of those not just within our party, but also those who have become disenfranchised by the current government. Following an intense multi-ballot election, MP Andrew Scheer (Regina-Qu’Appelle) was able to solidify the support necessary to become the new Conservative Party Leader
Here in Guelph, we have broken all previous records of enrollment as a result of this past election and are thrilled to have a thriving Conservative base within our riding. Regardless of who you voted for, we are able to stand stronger today than ever before
Now is the time for us to come together and embrace a renewed sense of Conservatism under Andrew Scheer; a sense that will lead us to victory in 2019.
